Insulated Panel Systems & Temperature-Controlled Areas

new build.png
Welcome

Frosty Build is a specialist contractor for the supply and installation of insulated panel systems and temperature-controlled areas. The majority of our work is delivered as a trade partner — in fact, around 95% of our annual work comes through established cold storage and panel businesses, supporting projects under principal contractors, builders, and refrigeration contractors.

We’re set up to strengthen your delivery capability, not compete with it. When engaged through a cold storage company, panel supplier, or refrigeration contractor, we operate as an extension of your team — installing to issued documentation, maintaining finishing standards, and coordinating closely to keep the program moving.

We also work directly with builders where required, delivering a clear, well-coordinated installation scope that integrates with refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, and fire services.

Who We Work With

  • Cold storage companies & specialist contractors

  • Panel manufacturers & suppliers

  • Refrigeration & mechanical contractors

  • Principal contractors / builders

  • Facilities & operations teams (as directed by the project team)

Pricing & Engagement Options

We’re flexible to suit how your project is structured:

  • Quoted scope (fixed price based on drawings / take-off / scope)

  • Hourly / day-rate labour (for support crews, shutdowns, or variable scope works)

  • Fixed rates set by the contractor (working to agreed productivity and site expectations)

We understand how the industry works and the importance of protecting client relationships.

  • We support your scope and standards on-site and maintain a professional, project-first approach

  • We install to issued drawings/specs and agreed scope boundaries

  • We coordinate with other trades to keep progress clean, predictable, and on program

  • When representing a trade client on-site, we can present as part of your team — including wearing your company shirts/branding where required and appropriate

How We Protect Trade Relationships

Cold Storage

Cold storage projects often involve large floor areas, high traffic, and strict temperature performance requirements. We install panel wall and ceiling systems with a strong focus on sealing, interfaces, and staged delivery to support efficient commissioning and handover.

  • Wall/ceiling installation to specified thermal performance

  • Sealing and detailing to minimise air leaks and refrigeration load

  • Interfaces for racking zones, traffic areas, and high-cycle openings

  • Coordination around penetrations and services routes to maintain performance

Cool Room

Cool rooms are typically built around workflow, hygiene, and consistent temperature control. We install insulated panel systems with clean junctions, practical detailing, and door interfaces suited to daily operation and maintenance requirements.

  • Panel installation aligned to required temperature range and duty cycle

  • Clean, sealed junctions and easy-clean detailing

  • Door installation to suit clear openings, traffic flow, and sealing performance

  • Practical finishing for wash-down zones and maintenance access

Freezer Room

Freezer rooms operate in demanding conditions where sealing, vapour control, and durability are critical. We install freezer systems with attention to junction detailing, thresholds, penetrations, and interfaces that help minimise condensation and long-term maintenance issues.

  • Sealed detailing to limit moisture ingress and condensation risk

  • Reduced thermal bridging at junctions, penetrations, and thresholds

  • Door and threshold interfaces installed to maintain seal integrity

  • Robust finishes suitable for loading and picking environments
