Panel Thickness, Colours, Sizes & Australian Manufacturing

All panels are available in standard thicknesses of 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm. Panels are also available in multiple colour options — our most common standard is Surfmist. To view the full range of available colours, please visit: https://www.frostybuild.com.au/panelskincolours

All XFLAM, EPS-FR, and Volcore panels we supply are produced in 1.2m widths as standard. Panel lengths can be ordered from 1 metre up to 12 metres, with longer lengths available by special order (subject to transport and site handling requirements).

All PIR panels we supply are produced in 1.1m widths as standard, with lengths available from 1 metre up to 12 metres and longer lengths by special order.

VIVID cladding panels are supplied in a 1.0m width as standard, with lengths available from 1 metre up to 12 metres and longer lengths by special order.

Australian Owned & Made

All panels we supply are manufactured in Australia and are not imported. For transparency, Volcore, EPS-FR, and XFLAM are produced by Australian-owned companies, providing consistent quality control and locally supported compliance documentation.

Lead Times

Lead times: Panels are generally supplied within 2–4 weeks, depending on the core type, colour, thickness, and total order quantity.

Documentation

Documentation support: We can provide supporting documents where applicable, including R-value tables, FM certificates (where relevant), and product/compliance information to support specification and approvals.

XFLAM Panel

At 100mm

  • R value: ~R3.3 (typical aged performance @ 15°C – confirm on data sheet)

  • FM certs: FM Approved (refer to certificate for exact listings/conditions)

  • Fire performance: Selected for projects needing stronger fire positioning than standard foam systems (final performance depends on the complete tested system)

  • Best suited: Cold storage and freezer builds where insurer-driven specifications and elevated fire performance are priorities

  • General description: A premium option balancing strong insulation with high confidence for fire/insurance requirements.

PIR Panel
At 100mm

  • R value: ~R4.8–R5.2 (typical aged performance – confirm on data sheet)

  • FM certs: FM Approved (refer to Kingspan documentation for exact listings/conditions)

  • Fire performance: PIR is commonly specified where high insulation per mm is required; final fire compliance depends on the complete tested system and project specification

  • Best suited: High-performance cool rooms and freezers where thermal efficiency is critical, and where FM certification is specified

  • General description: A high-thermal-efficiency core selected for premium cold chain performance and strong insulation outcomes at thickness.

ViviD Panels (Façade Profile, Concealed Fixing)

ViviD is a 1,000mm module architectural façade panel designed for a clean, modern finish with concealed (secret) fixings and a fast install outcome. It’s built for external wall and façade applications where appearance matters, but you still want the benefits of a true insulated panel system behind the skin.

XFLAM ViviD (Façade Panel)

At 100mm

  • Information: 1,000mm module façade panel system designed for concealed-fix architectural finishes.

  • R value: R3.30 @ 15°C

  • FM certs (summary): FM Approved — XFLAM holds FM approval listings including external wall system classifications (refer certificate/doc for exact scope).

  • Fire performance: Positioned as a Group 1 material system in ASKIN documentation, with low smoke performance referenced in the ViviD/exterior documentation (system dependent).

  • Best suited: Architectural facades, feature elevations, industrial/warehouse frontages, and projects needing a cleaner façade line without visible fixings plus strong thermal performance.

  • General description: A premium façade option when you want high insulation performance at thickness, insurer-friendly documentation, and a façade finish that presents like true architectural cladding—while still being an insulated panel system.

What’s Included With Panel Supply

When supplying panels, we can provide a complete package to suit your build scope, including:

  • Panels supplied to agreed sizes/cut list and specification

  • Matching trims/flashings where required

  • Recommended sealants and fixings to suit the panel system and application (optional)

Ordering Notes (Cut List & Site Coordination)

To avoid delays and rework, we recommend confirming key site details prior to finalising orders:

  • Allow for site tolerances and installation sequencing when preparing cut lists

  • Confirm door openings, services penetrations, and ceiling heights before production is locked in

  • If the scope includes transportables, staging or tight access, note this early so lengths and handling methods can be selected correctly

Freight, Handling & Delivery

Panel length selection is influenced by truck access, unloading method, crane/forklift capacity, and available laydown area. Longer lengths may require additional planning for safe transport and on-site handling.

Delivery pricing: Delivery costs vary depending on location and order volume, and will be quoted separately to the panel supply.
